Oscar Jacobson Dodman Polo Review
Oscar Jacobson boasts a rich heritage, which dates back over a hundred years. The brand describes its design philosophy as “Scandinavian simplicity combined with the inspiration of Italian tailoring and British textile tradition.” The golf collection continues this ideal and one of our favorite pieces from the 2022 range is the Dodman polo.
Well Rounded Design
The best men's golf shirts give a lot of mobility so the athletic movement of the golf swing is not compromised, whilst they also have to offer comfort, breathability and a lightweight feel. Ideally they would also look good as well and we think the Dodman delivers in all of these ways. Constructed with a relaxed fit and four way stretch fabrication, it offers excellent freedom of movement throughout the swing and when faced with different shots. Additionally the breathable and lightweight feel not only comes from this fabrication but also the side hem vents which are a nice touch.
Fashionable Apparel
With a cultural legacy in fashion tailoring that dates all the way back to 1903, style runs deep in the DNA at Oscar Jacobson, with the Dodman celebrating this. It has a color-blocked design with contrast chest stripes which looks great on the golf course. Finally the polo is available in four colors (navy/jewel red, cool blue/navy, white/aqua, lunar grey/black), and in sizes from small to 3XL.
Overall Oscar Jacobson is a brand synonymous with high quality golf apparel and the Dodman leads the way in the new range. So if you are looking for a new polo for your golfing wardrobe, it is definitely a model to consider and a worthy inclusion on our Editor’s Choice list.
