Golf Monthly Verdict

The Precept Tour Premium sits rightly in the middle of the price range - it's a solid wedge for improving mid or high handicappers. Try before you buy, if you get accustomed to the look the performance benefits are there to help your game around the greens.

Precept might not be the name you'd immediately go for when looking to buy a wedge but the high chrome forged head sits comfortably behind the ball at address appearing easy to hit. Cast from 255 stainless steel it should offer excellent levels of feel and control on approach shots and around the green. It should provide about as soft a feel as possible with a cast head.
