The ripple effect might be good for alignment but it doesn't make for an attractive clubhead. The dark blue face redeems the situation with a a sleek, modern look. A soft face insert should improve feel and help players to judge distance. On fast greens the soft face offers excellent feel.

Over the years, Neil has tested a vast array of products in each category and at drastically different price-points.
