Ben Sayers Benny RS21 driver
Ben Sayers Benny RS21 driver review
The original Ben Sayers Benny driver was a revelation for us, offering performance levels that punched way above its price. The RS21 model also offers impressive levels of performance and scores particularly high in the forgiveness category. The graphics on the crown will help those who struggle to align their driver. The head looks huge at address, which inspires confidence. The large face helps to give added forgiveness on shots away from the sweetspot. Although the crown graphics help with alignment, they take away from the original Benny’s classic-looking head design that gained so many admirers. (Tested by GM's Paul O'Hagan) PGA Pro verdict I often choose drivers on how they look and sit, and this was not a great first impression. The graphics on the crown looked too familiar, and the face loft looked strong for a 10.5°. However things picked up on the actual test, and I found it gave a good flight if somewhat low. All of the components felt solid and the Pro-launch Axis shaft was great. I would recommend a correct fitting as always, which may lead to ‘up-lofting’ to aid ease of use. (Tested by John Jacobs)
