I started in journalism over 15 years ago and have covered sports like football and cricket. Writing for Golf Monthly allows me to further indulge my obsession with golf, which began on the gravel fairways and mixed oil greens of a sand golf course in Salalah, Oman.

I currently reside in Germany, and lose a lot of golf balls at Fleesensee Golf Club in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. I play off a handicap of 6, and my biggest aspiration is to become a halfway-competent bunker player
