Titleist AP2 irons
Titleist AP2 irons review. Product verdict of new AP 2 golf irons and clubs
When Titleist launched its previous four iron models, the AP2s were the standout performer. The new set retain the same winning formula, but feature subtle changes. The sole is slightly thinner, which reduces the bounce angle improving the way the iron interacts with the turf at impact. Any solid ball-striker will enjoy the forged feel.
Why you can trust Golf Monthly
Retains the dual cavity seen in last year's AP2 irons while a new thin face and soft elastomer in the cavity improve feel. Better perimeter weighting enhances forgiveness. The new Titleist AP2 irons should suit golfers who don't want a chunky head design , like feedback when they mishit a shot and enjoy a forged feel, but with added forgiveness.
AP2 Irons 3-PW £816 (S), £928 (G)
