How Volvik’s Condor Range Is Establishing Itself As The New Standard Of Premium Golf Balls
The launch of the new Condor series sees the brand leverage 45 years of R&D to deliver a premium, Tour-calibre ball that challenges the industry’s biggest hitters
For years, Volvik has been synonymous with innovation and colour. They were the brand that proved you could show some character on the course, winning over millions of golfers with their matte finishes and vibrant golf ball aesthetics. But while the colours caught the eye, it’s the engineering under the hood that often gets overlooked with the brand's balls.
Volvik Condor Golf Balls
Now, Volvik is stepping firmly into the premium tour-calibre ball space with the new Condor range. This isn't just a new product launch - it’s a statement of intent, putting themselves up against some seriously impressive, proven golf ball designs, ready to prove their product can hold its own.
Designed in Korea and backed by nearly half a century of research and development, the Condor range, made up of four models, is engineered to be competitive with the best in the game, from ball speed off the tee to spin and control on and around the greens.
Performance Without Compromise
The mission for Volvik’s R&D team was clear, and that was to create a range of high-performance balls that provide a genuine alternative for the ‘better player’ while ensuring there is a model optimized for every swing speed, something that can often get overlooked when brands produce premium golf balls.
Volvik Condor S3 and S4 Golf Balls
“Our design team has assembled what we firmly believe is our most complete Tour-performance golf ball offering to date,” says David Kang, Head of Global Business Division at Volvik. “Each model delivers fantastic performance across a wide range of club head speeds.”
Here is how the Condor range breaks down, and why it might be time for you to consider a different ball than what you would usually pick from the pro-shop shelf.
Condor & Condor X
At the heart of the range are the Condor and Condor X, which both feature a soft cast urethane cover for enhanced greenside control and a 336 Perfect Symmetrical Dimple Pattern designed to fight the wind and maintain a stable flight.
The Volvik Condor X golf balls
The Condor is optimized for swing speeds over 85mph. With a compression of 85, the Hyper White Carbon Power Core and Elastin Mantle work in together to provide a mid-launch with a soft feel. It’s the ideal all-rounder for the low-to-mid handicapper seeking precision.
The Condor X (4-Piece) is made for the big hitters, targeting those who swing the club 90mph and faster. The Condor X adds an extra layer of complexity with a Dual Mantle system, which bumps the compression up by 10 points, offering a firmer feel through impact, a more audible click with the short game, while resulting in higher spin rates with explosive ball speeds for those who want to maximize their carry distance throughout the bag.
Condor S3 & S4 Tour Soft
Volvik understands that Tour-level golf balls shouldn't be reserved for those with high swing speeds, so the S3 and S4 models bring the same premium technology and feel to golfers seeking a slightly higher, more effortless trajectory.
The Condor S3 Tour Soft is best for those with swing speeds around the 80mph mark. Like the standard Condor, the S3 utilizes a Hyper White Carbon Soft Core to provide a very soft feel and a mid-to-high launch.
Volvik Condor S3 and S4 360 Golf Balls
The Condor S4 Tour Soft Targets those at speeds around 90mph. This four-piece ball uses a Dual Power Core to ensure that high-launching shots aren’t spinning too much, producing a penetrating flight, so you aren't sacrificing an inch of distance.
Both the S3 and S4 feature the patented L.R.T urethane cover and 322 Double Flat Dimples, specifically engineered to reduce air resistance and keep the ball on its intended line, to help you hit more fairways and lower your scores on the course.
Alignment Made Easy: The 360 Series
In golf, the smallest margins make the biggest difference, and that’s why Volvik introduced the Condor S3 and S4 Tour Soft 360. These models feature a vivid 360-degree alignment line to help you set up more often to your target and start your putts on line.

This visual aid provides instant feedback on how you’ve rolled the ball and is a great tool to keep improving your putting and continue to gain confidence on the greens.
