Motocaddy is a leading brand in the electric trolley space, with its award-winning range of trolleys covering everything from entry-level models to compact and feature-packed models that help enhance a golfer's experience of walking the golf course.

This year, Motocaddy has introduced a new flagship model with the all-new M7 GPS representing the ultimate caddie experience and the first remote-controlled electric trolley to include touchscreen GPS. This is Motocaddy's most feature-packed electric trolley to date and comes with all the benefits of remote-controlled functionality with the added benefit of a comprehensive GPS system embedded into the handle that also benefits from Motocaddy's cellular-powered Performance Plan.

The M7 GPS is the ultimate caddie with remote and GPS functionality combined to offer golfers the most complete machine when it comes to transporting your golf clubs and helping your strategy out on the course. The remote functionality means the trolley is controlled by the ergonomic remote that allows you to use the trolley hands-free as you walk the course. For closer control around tees and greens, it can also be controlled via the handle. The removable anti-tip rear wheel and 360° rotating front wheel offer a full range of stability and manoeuvrability, while cutting-edge Downhill Control technology automatically brakes to maintain a constant speed while travelling down hills.

The GPS functionality is controlled through the responsive, crystal clear 3.5" touchscreen that provides front, middle and back distances to the green, dynamic green view with drag & drop pin placement, yardages to hazards, shot distance tracking and scorecard. The screen also displays a clock and round timer, an indication of the par and handicap of each hole, shot distance measurement, automatic hole advancement, score tracking and a battery indicator. When connected to the free Motocaddy GPS app via Bluetooth, you can also receive a wide range of optional smartphone notifications direct to the screen - alerting you to a call, text message, email or range of app alerts, including WhatsApp and Facebook. It's a very comprehensive list of features that, as standard, really enhance your ability to play your best game.

The M7 GPS also gives users a free 12-month trial to Motocaddy's cellular-powered Performance Plan. On top of what comes as standard, this adds even more features to the GPS including access to full-hole mapping with the ability to move the target for ultimate shot planning; a detailed dynamic Green View showing the shape of the green and greenside hazards with drag and drop pin positions; score and statistic tracking; performance analysis through the free Motocaddy GPS App; real-time course updates to ensure access to the latest mapping; and notifications of software updates with on-the-go downloads.

As part of Motocaddy's 'M' series, the M7 GPS benefits from Motocaddy's compact folding system. On this model, the front wheels fold under the chassis while the rear anti-tip wheel can be detached completely to save even more room. The rear wheels can be inverted for storage and it also stands up on its own for space-saving wherever you store your trolley. The M7 GPS joins the M1, M3 GPS, M5 GPS, M7 REMOTE and M-TECH in this ultra-compact range of award-winning electric trolleys.

Why use a remote golf trolley?

Using a golf trolley to walk the golf course is one of the most enjoyable ways to experience the game. Not only is it easier on the back and shoulders than carrying, but the remote functionality is incredibly fun to use and much more versatile than a standard electric trolley. Simply put, there isn't a much freer feeling on a golf course than walking hands-free up the fairway while your trolley marches on ahead towards your ball.

Golfers average upwards of 13,000 steps during a round of golf, so walking the course has massive health benefits if you're looking to stay active while enjoying your favourite game. With a lightweight lithium battery and a simple, compact folding system, the M7 GPS is a hassle-free experience when you arrive at the golf course. Coupled with a Motocaddy cart bag, you can utilise the EASILOCK™ base which also means the bottom of the bag requires no strapping, further speeding up the process of assembling the M7 GPS.
