Mannings Heath GC - Waterfall Course

The Waterfall course was built way back in 1905 (Mannings second course was opened in 1996) and uses some interesting natural features including streams and tree-lined fairways. Just to get you started the round opens with two short par 4s. Accumulate a high total on these two and you face fighting back on some very tough holes.
There are some awesome par 3s - notably the 5th and signature 10th, which plays steeply downhill over hidden water. Our advice is simple yet effective - make sure you take enough club. But keep your big John Daly swing in reserve for a tough closing stretch, which includes the long par-4 16th and a difficult 18th played across a valley to a green that is precariously shallow from front to back. There's no messing on these holes, play them like a fool and your score will reflect it.
The clubhouse at Mannings is a beautiful old building, ideal for a lazy afternoon reflecting on an enjoyable round. The views over the surrounding countryside are simply spectacular.
Best Hole: The 1oth hole will stick in your mind for a while. Avoid a short, fat one off the tee and you could end up bagging a birdie.
