The TaylorMade PSi irons have been revealed, with the designs featuring a new Dynamic Feel System.

Made up of a HYBRAR blend compression damper and a multi-material cavity badge, the DFS reduces vibration across the clubface without losing ball speed.

Additionally, a new Speed Pocket has been incorporated into the PSi design. The Speed Pocket, with a cut-thru slot, enables faster ball speeds for shots that are struck lower on the face.

The new irons also make use of Face Slot Technology. Debuting last year, Face Slots, found on the toe and heel of the clubface, improve consistency in distance on shots that are struck off-centre.

An ultra-thin face (sub-2mm)  also allows for greater distance. The 360° cavity undercut lowers the centre of gravity to offer the maximum combination of spin, speed and launch angle, resulting in improved trajectory and distance.

Tomo Bystedt, Director of Iron Product Creation, said: "The total performance package had to meet or exceed the player’s expectation on look and feel while giving them performance they had never seen before.

"The consistency, workability and distance are something we think will be a revelation to all better players."

As well as the PSi, TaylorMade have revealed the PSi Tour iron, which has forged 1025 Carbon steel and precision milled face slots and Speed Pocket.

It also has a thinner topline, narrower sole and less offset than the PSi. The position of its centre of gravity enables a higher trajectory in the longer irons, but still maintains maximum workability.
