Ping i20 driver launched
Ping has released details of a new Ping i20 driver due to hit the shelves in mid March 2012.
Last year, Ping released details of a new Ping i20 driver that hit the shelves in mid March 2012. The 460cc head has been designed to offer optimum forgiveness and the aerodynamic design should create greater clubhead speed through impact.
One of the key design features in the new Ping i20 driver is the crown. Designed to be more aerodynamic it should reduce drag to increase clubhead speed. The head however, should still provide Ping's trademark forgiveness thanks to the two tungsten sole weights that increase MOI and help improve launch conditions.
As with the rest of the woods in the range, the PING i20 driver has a striking matt black finish that is designed to reduce glare.
The Ping i20 driver is available with two different stock shaft options; a Ping TFC 707H for lower spinning shots or a Project X Black for a higher trajectory. The new Ping i20 driver will have a recommended retail price of £299.
