Hole 12 – Par 4 – 484 yards

Due to the giving drive zone on the 12th hole at Pinehurst, many players will opt for a driver on the tee shot on this dogleg-right hole. Yet players second shot requires precision, because the size of the green is quite small. Just behind the green is a dramatic dropoff forcing players to employ shorter approach shots from the fairway. The general slope of the putting surface is from back to front most likely resulting in several three putts from players.
